About the Owner

Kimberly Omotosho is a wife, mother, teacher, coach and entrepreneur. She was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Prince George’s County, Md. Unlike many entrepreneurs, who always had a vision for beginning their own business, she began her business as simply a side hustle to generate extra income, in 2012. Initially, Kimberly sold fashion jewelry and accessories to friends and family, while living near Atlanta. However, hustling, surviving, and juggling was nothing new to her.

You see…at the age of 14 she lost her mother to breast and stomach cancer. Two years later, her sole provider and widowed father was murdered. She was then raised by her grandmother. At 18, she decided to pursue guardianship of her younger siblings and succeeded. Initially, she juggled attending Bowie State University full-time, working full-time, and raising her siblings, with the assistance of her grandmother. Her perseverance allowed her to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, in 2002. By now, she was married and 6 months pregnant with her first child. Kimberly later completed her Master’s Degree in Education, while working as a teacher near Atlanta.

Her best friend, Rashida, was selling jewelry in Maryland and shipped her supplies to supplement her income. The business had no name and she had no plan. Years later, she returned to Maryland. Life had not been “golden”. Kimberly was not living the American Dream. However, it was time to convert from hustler to entrepreneur.

Kimberly officially started her own company, Exclusive Accessories, in 2014. Three years prior, she would have never dreamed that this was possible. In 2016, she decided to launch a clothing business, allowing her to primarily wear and sell her own products. The Fashion Headquarters Boutique is now an online one-stop shop for fashionable, affordable jewelry, accessories, and clothing.
